Minnesota bolsters its organizational depth by adding Dylan Gambrell’s veteran playmaking and Jagger Joshua’s physical presence to the roster through a pair of multi-year AHL/NHL deals.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild announced the signings of two additional forwards to contracts.

Dylan Gambrell has been signed to a one-year, two-way contract ($850,000/$400,000).

Jagger Joshua has been signed to a two-year, two-way contract ($850,000/$260,000 in 2026-27; $900,000/$290,000 in 2027-28).

Gambrell, 29 recorded ten goals, 26 assists 36 points in 35 games with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) last season.

The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Bonney Lake, Wash., ranked second on Iowa in assists. Gambrell has tallied 17 goals, 23 assists and 40 points in 233 career NHL games over a span of six seasons with the San Jose Sharks and Ottawa Senators.

He also has 60 goals, 95 assists and 155 points in 224 AHL games over six seasons with the San Jose Barracuda, Toronto Marlies, Cleveland Monsters and Iowa (2025-26). 

Joshua, 27, recorded career-high totals with eight goals, 18 assists, 26 points,  119 shots on goal and a team-leading 101 PIM with the Rochester Americans (AHL) last season.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Dearborn, Michigan, has 19 goals, 38 assists, 57 points and 287 PIM in 169 career games across five AHL seasons with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Rochester.

He played four seasons at Michigan State University, totaling 21 goals, 23 assists and 44 points in 135 career games and earning Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors as a senior in 2022-23.
