

The Wild have now made three trades in the last two days after their recent trade that will send forward Nic Petan to the New York Rangers for forward Turner Elson.
Petan, 28, was an AHL All-Star this year along with Jesper Wallstedt for the Iowa Wild. In 44 AHL games this year, Petan has 12 goals and 40 points. He has played in six NHL games this year for the Wild and has notched two assists.
Elson, 31, has played in 579 career AHL games across 13 seasons and has notched 117 goals and 263 points. He has only played in three career NHL games and has one point.
