The Wild will be without both Joel Eriksson Ek and Jared Spurgeon tonight in St. Louis.
The Minnesota Wild (1-0-2) play the St. Louis Blues (2-1-0) on the road tonight. They will do it without center Joel Eriksson Ek and defenseman Jared Spurgeon.
Eriksson Ek, 27, will not play tonight for the second straight game. He suffered a broken nose at home on Saturday against the Seattle Kraken.
The Wild center did not travel to Winnipeg on Sunday for the Jets game and did not join the team on Tuesday in St. Louis. He remains day-to-day but should be ready by Saturday.
Spurgeon, 34, suffered a lower-body injury and did not play in Winnipeg. He has played in the first two games of the year but is set to miss his second straight game.
