The 2024 NHL Draft Lottery is tonight and the Minnesota Wild don't have a chance at moving up to the first overall pick but could land the third overall pick.

As it sits right now, the Minnesota Wild will likely be selecting 13th in the upcoming NHL Draft. But tonight is the Draft Lottery.

The San Jose Sharks have a 18.5 percent chance at getting the first pick, the Chicago Blackhawks have a 13.5 percent chance and the Anaheim Ducks have a 11.5 percent chance.

Way down towards the bottom are the Wild. They have a 2 percent chance to move up. But with the new rules in place, the Wild cannot get the first overall pick. The highest they can move up is to the third overall pick.

So the Wild could move up to the 3rd, the 4th or the 5th but will likely stay at pick No. 13. They also have a 5 percent chance of moving back to pick 14 and could fall to pick 15.

They have over a 90 percent chance to stay with pick 13. The Draft Lottery is tonight at 5:30 p.m. CT.

If you missed it, we have been writing about some potential draft targets for the Wild at pick No. 13 and will continue the series after the lottery.
