Wild forward Joel Eriksson Ek, defenseman Jonas Brodin and goaltender Filip Gustavsson have made Team Sweden for the 4 Nations Tournament.
ST. PAUL - Today marks the 4 Nations roster reveals. Team Sweden announced their roster for the upcoming Tournament. The Wild will have three players on the team.
Filip Gustavsson, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Jonas Brodin will represent the Minnesota Wild for Team Sweden.
All three Wild players competed for Team Sweden over the summer in the Men's IIHF World Championships, along with Marcus Johansson and Jesper Wallstedt. Eriksson Ek and Johansson won Sweden's Player of the Tournament.
Gustavsson was one of the best goalies during the tournament. He went 7-1-0 with a 1.85 goals-against average (GAA) and a .922 save percentage (SV%).
This year in 19 games, Gustavsson is 12-4-3 with a 2.04 GAA and a .929 SV%. Eriksson Ek has five goals, eight assists, and 13 points in 22 games. Brodin is currently on the Injured Reserve but has two goals and eight points in 19 games this year.
