Following the 2024 NHL Draft, the Wild's prospect pool still ranks top ten in the league.

According to Byron Bader and his model, the Minnesota Wild rank in the top ten for NHL team's prospect pool strength rankings following the Draft.

Before the 2024 NHL Draft the Wild ranked tenth on his list. They have jumped up a spot following the draft.

"The Wild have been able to select some pretty substantial high value talent over the last 6 years without ever selecting in the top 5 (Boldy, Rossi, Wallstedt, Yurov, Heidt, Buium)," Bader said in a tweet about the Wild. "And as a result, and even with graduating prospects to the NHL throughout, they've essentially been a top 10 prospect pool with HP for the entire time I've been doing this (4 years).

"The Buium pick especially I feel is really going to pay off for Minnesota and I loved the Ryder Ritchie pick as well!"

The Wild's top 5 Skater Prospects according to the model are Zeev Buium, Brock Faber, Marat Khusnutdinov, Riley Heidt and Danila Yurov.

This will change considering Faber played in all 82 games last year but adding Liam Ohgren to the top five still makes the Wild's pool strong.
