    ST. PAUL, Minn - Wild rookie defenseman Zeev Buium plans on joining Team USA for the 2025 Men's World Championships later tonight. He is hoping on a plane later for a long trip. 

    “Yeah, so I’m going to go to Worlds and then I think after that just relax for a little bit," Buium said. 

    Buium, 19, joined the Wild for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs after spending two seasons at Denver University. He recorded 24 goals, 74 assists, and 98 points in 83 games. 

    In four playoff games, Buium recorded one assist which was on the power play to Kirill Kaprizov. USA is in action today for a pre-tournament game. Buium will join them later.
