The Minnesota Wild (1-0-1) will be without two of their most important players for Sunday's game against the Winnipeg Jets (2-0-0).

Wild captain Jared Spurgeon is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play Sunday.

On top of that, Joel Eriksson Ek is out tonight with a broken nose. He is expected to travel to St. Louis for Tuesday's game against the Blues. Spurgeon is still being evaluated.

Marcus Johansson is also a game-time decision for the Wild on Sunday. Injuries starting to mount up just two games into the season for the Wild.

Hopefully this won't be a repeat of last year.
