"I think a little bit," Boldy said on if Johansson's pass surprised him. "I would say just a little bit, though, because you know that he makes plays like that all the time, so you know it's coming. But yeah, it happened quickly." Boldy, 23, became the fourth NHL player since 2000-01 to record five game-winning goals in a season's first 16 games, joining Fedorov (six, 2002-03), Draisaitl (five, 2021-22) and Matthews (five, 2020-21). He is quickly becoming a superstar for the Wild with ten goals and 17 points in 16 games this year. Boldy is currently on pace for 51 goals, 36 assists, and 87 points this year.
