His contract was terminated by the Wild on May 14th. He officially cleared waivers on the 15th. The Russia native was a second round pick by the Wild during the 2019 NHL Draft. His contract was set to end after the 2024-25 season but was terminated instead. He has cleared waivers and can sign with anyone.
