These two Canadiens prospects have been ranked among the best NHL-affiliated prospects.

The Hockey News has shared players 21-40 for their latest top 100 NHL-affiliated prospect rankings. Two Montreal Canadiens prospects were listed among this latest batch: David Reinbacher and Alexander Zharovsky.

Reinbacher was given the No. 21 spot by THN. The right-shot defenseman has dealt with serious injury trouble during the early stages of his career. While this is the case, the 2023 fifth-overall pick has shown promise and has the potential to become a nice part of the Canadiens' roster in the future.

In 51 games so far this season in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Laval Rocket, Reinbacher has recorded five goals, 18 assists, 23 points, and a plus-18 rating. This is after he had two goals and five points in 10 games for Laval during this past season.

As for Zharovsky, he was given the No. 23 spot by THN. He just had a fantastic regular season for Salavat Yulaev Ufa, as he recorded 16 goals, 26 assists, and 42 points in 59 games. When noting that he is just 19 years old, it is hard not to be impressed with how Zharovsky has performed at the KHL level.

The Canadiens will be hoping that Zharovsky can continue to shine. The potential for him to become a high-impact forward for them later down the road is certainly there.
