A lot of Montreal Canadiens players tied the knot this Summer. Brendan Gallagher and Emma Fortin did it in town while Josh Anderson and Paola Finizio did it in Italy and Jake Evans and Emily Flat sealed the deal in Luttrellstown Castle Resort in Dublin, Ireland.
Meanwhile, captain Nick Suzuki proposed to long-term girlfriend Caitlin Fitzgerald in Dominican Republic last April while newly acquired Patrik Laine proposed to girlfriend Jordan Leigh in early August.
There's no denying that the Canadiens' young core is growing up and we can now add another name to the list of Habs that are off of the market. After settling those important matters over the Summer, the players will be laser focus on hockey when the Canadiens training camp opens with the annual golf tournament on September 16, followed by physical testing in Brossard on September 18 before hitting the ice on the 19.
Montreal will have its first preseason test on the ice facing the Philadelphia Flyers at the Bell Centre on September 23 at the Bell Centre.
