David Reinbacher is Getting Closer To a Return

Montreal Canadiens general manager, Kent Hughes, talked about defenseman David Reinbacher today as the team and management answered questions about Ivan Demidov.

Reinbacher is on the road to recovery and Renaud Lavoie stated he could be back in Laval on Wednesday. I talked about his season so far in a different article.

From what I was told the team has no appetite to call him up and that’s music to my ears. That’s the best thing for the young prospect. He has to first get used to the AHL while he is still coming back from an injury. It’s a tough way to do it and the Canadiens would be smart to not skip any steps in the process.

A lot of things are looking up for this franchise. How you manage it says a lot about what their future success could be.
