Tonight the Predators head to Scotiabank Saddledome to play the Calgary Flames in their fourth of five road games. Both teams are coming off of wins. The Predators defeated the Edmonton Oilers Saturday afternoon with a 5-2 win while the Flames won their third game of the season Saturday beating the Seattle Kraken.
The Flames will be without leading goal scorer Andrew Mangiapane who is serving a one game suspension for a"intent to injury" crosscheck penalty committed in the Kraken game. Nashville may also be without one of their veteran players as defenseman Ryan McDonagh could miss his second game due to a lower body injury. He did not practice yesterday, but the Predators have not yet officially ruled him out for tonight's game.

The game between the Preds and Flames is one that will likely be decided by five on five play. The Flames' power play ranks 20th in the league while they have one of the best penalty kills so far this season, so special teams may not be as big a factor between the teams. Nashville will need to capitalize on five on five offensive chances despite the Predators' power play improving recently.
Puck drop for tonight's game is scheduled for 8:00 pm CT.
