

The Nashville Predators have announced that they have signed forward prospect Cole O'Hara to a two-year entry-level contract, which will start next season. In addition, the Predators shared that O'Hara will join the Milwaukee Admirals on an amateur tryout for the rest of this season.
O'Hara was selected by the Predators with the 114th overall pick of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. This was after he had 25 goals and 73 points in 58 games with the USHL's Tri-City Storm during the 2021-22 season.
O'Hara, 22, just completed his third season with UMass-Amherst, and it was easily his best of the bunch. In 40 games this campaign with the school, he set new collegiate career highs with 22 goals, 29 assists, and 51 points.
In 109 games over three seasons with UMass, O'Hara posted 33 goals, 53 assists, and 86 points. Overall, he had a very solid collegiate career, and he will now look to make an impact at the professional level after landing this ELC.
