The Admirals and Stars series is all tied up as the teams face off for game three tonight.

The Milwaukee Admirals continue their chase for the Calder Cup tonight in the Divisional Finals as they face the Texas Stars in game three of their best of five series. Milwaukee hosted games one and two which the teams split at UWM Panther Arena.

Keys to the Game

1. Quick start - The Texas Stars have gotten on the board first in both games of the series so far. Tonight the Admirals need to come out with a strong offensive push and score early. Milwaukee outshot the Stars in the first two games of the series, so they need to finish their chances out of the gate. While Milwaukee has been able to come from behind to stay in these games, getting the quick jump will give the team valuable momentum through three periods.

2. The power play - Milwaukee's power play has been a strength in the playoffs, and this series is no exception. In game one both Luke Evangelista and Joakim Kemell scored on the man advantage. Game two was a bit more of a challenge as Milwaukee gave up a shorthanded goal while defenseman Marc Del Gaizo recorded the Admirals' only power play goal on four attempts. Kemell is one to keep an eye on again tonight if the Stars spend time in the penalty box.

3. Yaroslav Askarov - The spunky goaltender will need a strong game in net tonight against Texas. Askarov likes to play an aggressive game, but he will have to choose his moments wisely against a Stars team that has been able to capitalize when the net minder gets out of position.

It is unclear whether Kiefer Sherwood will return to the lineup tonight. Sherwood missed game two after a late collision in game one.

The Admirals take on the Stars tonight at 7:00 pm CST. The game will be broadcast on AHLTV.com.
