As New Jersey Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe previously indicated, goaltender Jacob Markstrom joined his team for a Saturday afternoon practice at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House in Newark.

The 35-year-old goaltender suffered a lower-body injury in the third period against the Columbus Blue Jackets on October 15th. He since made his first on-ice appearance Friday at his team's morning skate before hosting the San Jose Sharks.

After today's practice, Keefe confirmed that Markstrom will be on the team's upcoming four game road trip.

"He will be on the trip," Keefe said. "We see him playing on the trip. When exactly that is we will have to see how he feels today and what that looks like. Once we get out to Colorado tomorrow night, we will have an opportunity for him to skate out in Colorado on Monday too and see where it goes from there."
