The New Jersey Devils will host the Florida Panthers at Prudential Center on Tuesday night.

New Jersey Has A Deep Offense

The New Jersey Devils could see a change to their lineup on Tuesday night against the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, the Florida Panthers.

After holding an optional morning skate, The Hockey News asked Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe if his lineup would change.

"We've got a game-time decision or two that might impact the group," he said. "We will have to see how that plays out tonight."

Only eight players were on the ice Tuesday morning: Jake Allen, Nathan Bastian, Jesper Bratt, Curtis Lazar, Kurtis MacDermid, Timo Meier, Ondrej Palat, and Tomas Tatar.

At the time of publication, the Devils did not recall any players from their American Hockey affiliate. The team's only extra player right now is MacDermid. Erik Haula (ankle injury) remains unavailable.

On the other side of the ice, it has been confirmed that the Devils will face Panthers' goaltender Spencer Knight. Per team reporter Rob Darragh, below is Florida's projected lineup:

Evan Rodrigues – Aleksander Barkov – Sam Reinhart

Eetu Luostarinen – Sam Bennett – Matthew Tkachuk

Carter Verhaeghe – Anton Lundell – Jesper Boqvist

A.J. Greer – Tomas Nosek – Mackie Samoskevich

Gustav Forsling – Dmitry Kulikov

Niko Mikkola – Nate Schmidt

Tobias Bjornfot – Uvis Balinskis

Spencer Knight

The puck drops between the Devils and Panthers will be at 7:30 P.M. Fans can watch on ESPN+/Hulu or listen on the Devils Hockey Network.
