The New Jersey Devils will be without Erik Haula on Sunday evening versus the Edmonton Oilers. The organization announced he has an upper-body injury.
In the team's Saturday game versus the Calgary Flames, Haula played 18 shifts for a total of 14:20 of time on ice. He finished with one shot and a faceoff-win percentage of 66.67.
As Devils reporter Catherine Bogart shared, the 32-year-old was not on the ice for warmups. Chris Tierney, who has not played since Nov. 30 versus the Philadelphia Flyers, draws back in and will start on the team's third line with Dawson Mercer and Alexander Holtz.
Haula has collected 13 points (seven goals, six assists) in 21 games for New Jersey this season.
