Erik Haula, Tomas Nosek, and Colin Miller are unavailable for New Jersey's game versus New York.

New Jersey Devils head coach Lindy Ruff confirmed that forwards Erik Haula and Tomas Nosek will be unavailable Friday night versus the New York Islanders.
This will be the second consecutive game that Nosek will miss with a lower-body injury. After the team's practice on Tuesday, he was seen leaving the arena in a walking boot. He has one shot, one giveaway, three takeaways, and one hit through two games.
Haula will miss his first game of the 2023-24 season with an upper-body injury. The 5-foot-11 forward is off to a strong start with three points (two goals, one assist) in three games. On Oct. 16, he scored New Jersey's first goal versus the Florida Panthers and added an assist.
Both veterans missed the team's Thursday practice, and Ruff alluded to the two missing the team's fourth game.
"Where they're at, I don't think they're game-time (decisions)."
Colin Miller, who has served as the team's extra defenseman, is also unavailable. The 30-year-old crashed into the boards during the team's practice on Thursday and subsequently left early with a trainer.
"Miller is getting evaluated, just lower body," Ruff said. "We should have a timeline in a few days or maybe even tomorrow."
Chris Tierney is expected to draw into the lineup for the first time this season. He was on the team's fourth line at yesterday's practice with Curtis Lazar and Nathan Bastian. With Haula's absence, McLeod was bumped to the third line and is projected to play alongside Dawson Mercer and Alexander Holtz.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. at UBS Arena.
