Preseason hockey has arrived. The New Jersey Devils hit the ice Monday morning for two-morning skate sessions. The group staying behind in New Jersey skated first at 10:15 A.M.; the second group followed before traveling to Montreal in the afternoon.
The two rosters feature numerous NHL regulars and prospects looking to make a lasting impression.

Hockey fans venturing to Newark will see a lineup headlined by Nico Hischier, Timo Meier, and Jesper Bratt. They will also see 19-year-old winger Josh Filmon, who stood out at development camp in July.
