The Devils will conclude a home back-to-back Friday night when they host the Coyotes.

The New Jersey Devils will conclude their first set of back-to-back games when they host Clayton Keller and the Arizona Coyotes at 7:00 P.M. Per the media notes, New Jersey earned a 15-8-1 record in back-to-back games last season, the club was 6-5-1 in first half games played and 9-3-0 in second half games played.

The Devils earned a 2-0-0 record vs Arizona last season. Erik Haula enters tonight's contest with three points in his previous three games versus the Coyotes; white team captain Nico Hischier has earned at least a point in his last four games.

  • Tomas Nosek is expected to skate in his 400th career NHL game tonight. The versatile fourth-line winger made his Devils debut on Thursday night.
  • Tyler Toffoli and Kevin Bahl scored their first NHL goals against Arizona.
  • Coyotes defenseman Matt Dumba has averaged 22:12 ice time versus New Jersey in 12 games. It's the second most ice time versus any team behind the Vegas Golden Knights. The 29-year-old has collected two assists versus New Jersey.
  • In two games versus New Jersey last season, defenseman Juuso Valimaki earned three assists.
  • Logan Cooley, who was selected third overall at the 2022 NHL Draft, will make his NHL debut.

    The young defenseman has played two career games versus the Coyotes and has two points (one goal, one assist). Bahl celebrated his first career NHL goal versus Arizona goaltender Karel Vejmelka on April 12, 2022.

    Arizona drafted Bahl 55th overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-6 defenseman was part of the trade package New Jersey received for Taylor Hall in 2019.
