    The New Jersey Devils have a 7-2-1 record with MacDermid in the lineup this season.

    New Jersey Devils forward Kurtis MacDermid will draw back into the lineup Friday afternoon against the Detroit Red Wings. 

    MacDermid will take Shane Bowers' spot on the fourth line as the Devils will use the following lineup: 

    Ondrej Palat - Jack Hughes - Jesper Bratt

    Timo Meier - Nico Hischier - Stefan Noesen

    Paul Cotter - Erik Haula - Dawson Mercer

    Kurtis MacDermid - Justin Dowling - Tomas Tatar 

    Brenden Dillon - Dougie Hamilton 

    Jonas Siegenthaler - Johnathan Kovacevic 

    Luke Hughes - Brett Pesce 

    Jacob Markstrom 

    Timo Meier will return to the ice after serving his one-game suspension for cross-checking against Nashville Predators forward Zachary L'Heureux. The Swiss power forward has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 14 games against the Red Wings. 

    On Thursday, New Jersey assigned Nolan Foote to the Utica Comets (AHL) after appearing in two games.
