The New Jersey Devils will face the Maple Leafs at 7:00 P.M. EST on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday night, the New Jersey Devils will host the Toronto Maple Leafs at Prudential Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. The Devils held a morning skate at 10:30 A.M.

  • Interim head coach Travis Green confirmed that Jack Hughes, who missed the team's morning skate, will not play against the Maple Leafs. When asked if his upper-body injury is long-term, Green said, "We'll see."
  • Nolan Foote will make his season debut after being sidelined with an undisclosed injury.
    • Defenseman John Marino will return to the lineup. It is expected that Nick DeSimone will come out. 
    • Ahead of the team's skate, the organization announced goaltender Akira Schmid was recalled from the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League. Kaapo Kahkonen suffered an injury in the Devils' last game against the Nashville Predators.
