New Jersey has an all-time record of 97-120-13-6 against Washington.

On Tuesday night, the New Jersey Devils will face the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. It is the final of four meetings between the two teams this season. The Devils did not hold a morning skate. Head coach Lindy Ruff will meet with the media at 5:00 P.M.

On Monday, Ruff confirmed defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler is available to play against the Capitals. The 26-year-old has been out of the lineup since Jan. 6, when he broke his foot against the Vancouver Canucks. At the time of publication, he was still on injured reserve.

Devils' defenseman John Marino missed Monday's practice due to illness but traveled to Washington, D.C., with the team.

Devils @ Capitals - Capital One Arena

The Devils earned a 1-2-0 record against the Capitals this season. In their previous meeting, New Jersey defeated Washington 6-3. Nico Hischier earned his first three-point night of the season, and Dawson Mercer scored twice. Goaltender Nico Daws made 23 saves on 26 shots.

The Capitals are sixth in the Metropolitan Division (24-21-8). They are coming off a 4-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Anthony Mantha, T.J. Oshie, Sonny Milano, and Aliaksei Protas scored, and goaltender Darcy Kuemper made 28 saves on 31 shots.

  • New Jersey's injury list includes Dougie Hamilton (out indefinitely), Jonas Siegenthaler (broken foot), and Vitek Vanecek (lower body).
  • Washington's injury list includes Martin Fehervary (lower body) and Nicklas Backstrom (hip).
