The following New Jersey Devils players have received qualifying offers ahead of Monday's 5:00 p.m. ET deadline: forward Cody Glass and defenseman Luke Hughes.

On June 19, Glass' agent told The Hockey News that preliminary contract talks with the Devils had begun. After that, the center became the subject of multiple reports, which began with Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman stating that the Devils were not going to qualify the forward on an episode of 32 Thoughts: The Podcast. Ultimately, New Jersey chose to give him a qualifying offer of $2.5 million with rumors swirling that other teams were interested in the 26-year-old's services.

In 71 games, Luke Hughes potted seven goals and finished the 2024-25 campaign with 44 points. The 21-year-old took a positive step in improving the defensive part of his game, playing alongside veteran Brett Pesce. In May, the blueliner underwent shoulder surgery at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. Hughes is expected to make a full recovery to be available for the 2025 New Jersey Devils Training Camp.

The Devils did not qualify forward Nolan Foote, defenseman Santeri Hatakka, and goaltender Isaac Poulter.

Foote spent the majority of the 2024-25 season in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Utica Comets. There, he collected 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists), which was the third-most on the team behind Ryan Schmelzer and Brian Halonen. With the Devils, the 24-year-old appeared in seven games, earning one assist.

Poulter, 23, played a single-season career-high 36 games with the Comets, sharing the net with Nico Daws. He concluded the season with a 2.86 goals against average and 0.898 save percentage with a record of 16-13-6-1.

The 2024-25 season was filled with injuries for Hatakka, who was limited to only 19 games with the Comets. At the end of April, it was announced the defenseman signed a two-year contract for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons with the HV71 of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
