
New Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes and defensemen Luke Hughes and Brett Pesce are three of 44 NHL players who were invited to the U.S. Men's Olympic Orientation Camp, which will be held from Aug. 26-27 in Plymouth, Michigan.
Per USA Hockey, the two-day gathering is largely an administrative and team-building event and includes no formal on-ice activity or public component.
Jack Hughes represented the United States twice at the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) U18 World Junior Championships in 2018 and 2019. He played for Team USA at the 2019 U-20 WJC and played in the 2019 World Championship in Slovakia.
The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, beginning on Feb. 11, concluding with the gold medal game on Feb. 22.
