In a high-scoring, high-intensity game on Saturday night between the New Jersey Devils and Washington Capitals, forwards Stefan Noesen and Brandon Duhaime decided to drop the gloves and go at it.
Early in the third period, the Devils were down 5-3, and Noesen took it upon himself to change the momentum of the game.
After they dropped the gloves, Duhaime got the best of Noesen. Although the fight didn't last long, Noesen took a few hard shots before going down.
Regardless of the outcome of the fight, the Devils managed to score two goals after the fight and tie the game to send it to overtime.
Unfortunately, the Devils fell in overtime to the Capitals, who won 6-5.
