New Jersey Devils have placed four players on waivers today

At the 2 p.m. EST waiver deadline, the New Jersey Devils placed three players on waivers.

The following players were placed on waivers for the purpose of re-assigning to the Utica Comets of the AHL:

- Shane Bowers

- Nick DeSimone

- Nolan Foote

- Colton White

These four players don't as too much of a surprise. The one name that stands out is Nolan Foote, who may be claimed by a rebuilding team given his age and that he is NHL ready.

However, the other three will likely go unclaimed and will report to the Comets.

The Devils also announced that Nico Daws has been loaned back to the AHL Comets as well.
