The Devils add Max Willman from the Utica Comets.

NEWARK, N.J. -- On Nov. 4, the New Devils recalled forward Max Willman from their American Hockey League affiliate to join the team in Chicago.

Willman has appeared in seven games for the Utica Comets, collecting seven points (four goals, three assists). He most recently played on a line with Justin Dowling and Graeme Clarke.

The Devils left New Jersey on Wednesday for their four-game road trip with one extra player, defenseman Cal Foote.

During the team's Friday night game, center Jack Hughes collided with the boards and had to exit the game. Head coach Lindy Ruff said the first-overall pick "will be evaluated on Saturday, and we'll see where we're at."

The team was off today and will not hold a morning skate ahead of their game versus the Chicago Blackhawks. Any updates on Hughes or the lineup must wait until 4:00 P.M. when Ruff meets with the media.

Additionally, the club currently has four injured forwards on their roster. Nico Hischier (upper-body), Tomas Nosek (lower-body), Nolan Foote (lower-body), and Brian Halonen (lower-body).
