

The New Jersey Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald announced today that the team has signed defenseman Mikael Diotte to a three-year, entry-level contract starting in the 2024-25 season.
Diotte will continue this season with the Drummondville Voltigeurs in the QMJHL. Diotte made his debut in the QMJHL in the 2019-20 season. Diotte went on to play four more years with the Voltigeurs scoring 20 goals and 87 points in 198 games.
Diotte is a 6'3, 205lbs right-handed defenseman born in 2003. Diotte is signing with the Devils as an undrafted free agent. Diotte will most likely join the Utica Comets or Adirondack Thunder next season.
