    Former New Jersey Devils goaltender Scott Wedgewood has been traded to the Colorado Avalanche.

    Scott Wedgewood is once again on the move.

    On Saturday, the former New Jersey Devils goaltender was traded from the Nashville Predators to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Justus Annunen and a sixth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. 

    Wedgewood signed a two-year, $3 million contract with the Predators on July 1, 2024. 

    The 32-year-old was selected by the Devils 84th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Over two stints with New Jersey, he appeared in 23 games and earned a .908 save percentage. 

    He will return to Prudential Center with his new team on Sunday, Dec. 8, when the Devils host the Avalanche at 7:00 P.M. Wedgewood has a 3-0-0 record with a 1.39 goals-against average and .952 save percentage in three career starts against New Jersey.
