In his 325th career NHL game, New Jersey Devils star Jack Hughes earned his 300th NHL point.

New Jersey Devils star forward Jack Hughes hit an impressive milestone Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena.
In his 325th career NHL game, the 23-year-old earned his 300th career point.
Hughes hit the milestone at the 8:30 mark of the first period. Hughes was on the receiving end of a beautiful pass from Jesper Bratt and beat Florida's goaltender, Spencer Knight, to give the Devils a 1-0 lead.
Hughes is in his sixth season in the NHL after making his professional debut on Oct. 4, 2019. Since then broke multiple single-season records, including the franchise record of 96 points set by Patrik Elias in 2000-01.
The 2019 first-overall pick joined Patrick Kane (369), Auston Matthews (351), Jack Eichel (337), and Matthew Tkachuk (300) as the fifth active U.S.-born player with 300-plus career points before his 24th birthday.
