During an interview with the Devils team reporter, 26-year-old Siegenathler talked about the injury he sustained on Jan. 6 against the Vancouver Canucks.
"When I stepped on foot again, it did not feel right, so I knew something was wrong there," he said.
He continued to say that he started walking ten days after the injury occurred and has been skating on the ice for the last two weeks.
"There is still a little bit of pain, but I think that's normal," he said. "It's been six weeks now, but I feel ready."
Head coach Lindy Ruff confirmed Siegenthaler will be available to play, saying, "We'll look at him for tomorrow's game and getting back in."
