Dougie Hamilton will partner with RWJBarnabas Health to launch "Dougie's Buddies"

NEWARK, N.J. -- New Jersey Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton is partnering with RWJBarnabas Health to launch a community program called "Dougie's Buddies."
"Connecting with our youth is a passion of mine, and it is an honor to partner with RWJBarnabas Health to launch this community program and create a meaningful experience for children and their families," said Hamilton in the official press release. "Having made New Jersey my home and seeing how important the Devils are to the community, I wanted to offer this unique opportunity and bring smiles to their faces during what may be a difficult time."
Hamilton will host a guest and their family at a Devils' home game at Prudential Center multiple times a month throughout the season. The guest will receive tickets to the game, food and beverages, Devils merchandise, and a post-game meet and greet with the 6-foot-6 defenseman.
On Thursday, the Devils and RWJBarnabas Health announced a multi-year extension of "their innovative partnership that will strengthen the impact the two enterprises are making together in their shared vision of building healthier communities."
Additionally, RWJBarnabas Health will become the team's first-ever home jersey patch partner. On February 22 at Prudential Center, the new logo will be debuted on the team's jerseys against the New York Rangers.
