NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils Stadium Series jersey will not be available for purchase for the general public on Tuesday night at the Devils Den located at Prudential Center.
A Devil Den employee confirmed that only season ticket holders will be able to purchase the specialty jersey when the Devils host the Colorado Avalanche.
Starting on Wednesday, the general public can purchase any Stadium Series jerseys left over at the team store. There is no guarantee that jerseys will still be available when the Devils host the Calgary Flames on Thursday, Jan. 8.
The NHL unveiled the Stadium Series jerseys on Jan. 26. The predominantly red jersey features the team logo in black and black numbers and stripes and is unlike any jersey the Devils have worn before.
The Devils will face the Philadelphia Flyers at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 17.
New Jersey will wear the special jerseys at the Stadium Series and their March 19 home game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Devils Den Team Store can be reached at (973) 757-6230.
