New Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt picked up an assist in his first game with Team Sweden in the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.

It was a crucial play, leading to Sweden's game-tying third goal to force overtime, where Sweden eventually fell 4-3.

To begin the sequence, Bratt's linemate Joel Eriksson Ek won an offensive zone faceoff against Anthony Cirelli. Lucas Raymond got possession near Canada's blue line and passed the puck to Bratt, who was near Jordan Binnington's net. The Devils forward slid the puck across the crease to set up Eriksson Ek for Sweden's third goal.

Earlier in the week, Bratt shared his excitement about playing on a line with Eriksson Ek and Raymond.

"They obviously wanted to use the strength, good defensive play, and net-front presence of Eriksson Ek," Bratt said to NJD.TV. "He is one of the best guys in the league at, being a tough center, a two-way player that really does a great job in front of the net, too. Me and Raymond can use our speed, our skill through the neutral zone and create a lot of chances to the O-Zone kind of similar to what me and Jack do. It is an exciting line."

Team Sweden will next face Team Finland on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1:00 p.m. In addition to Bratt, Devils forward Erik Haula will play in the game.
