NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils on-ice coaching staff for the 2024-25 season has been solidified.

Head coach Sheldon Keefe will work alongside assistants Jeremy Colliton, Ryan McGill, Chris Taylor, Sergei Brylin, and goaltending coach Dave Rogalski.

On Tuesday morning, the organization announced the addition of Colliton and the retention of the other four. Taylor and Rogalski are the longest-tenured members, having been hired in October 2020. McGill joined New Jersey in July 2022, and Brylin came a month later, in August 2022.

McGill will continue to handle the team's defense and penalty kill, while the team announced that Colliton will be in charge of the forwards and power play.

New Jersey finished the 2023-24 season with a power play percentage of 22.5%, which was 13th best, and a penalty kill percentage of 80.7%, finishing 11th in the league.

Sheldon Keefe was asked about the status of the remaining assistants during his introductory media availability on May 28.

"The plan is to spend time with each assistant coach, get a sense of where they're at, how they feel about the group, and how we may be able to work together," said Keefe. "In the appropriate time, when I feel comfortable with it, we'll make some decisions (on) how we progress as a staff. I'm excited for that. Like I said, it's a lot of work ahead, but that will be the priority for me — to spend time with both the coaches and the players here in the very near future."
