The Hughes brothers did something rare against the Canadiens last game.
The New Jersey Devils played their final game before the 4 Nations Face-Off break on Feb. 8 against the Montreal Canadiens. It was a great performance for the Devils, as they defeated the Canadiens by a 4-0 final score.
This Devils win also featured a rare stat. According to Sportsnet Stats, Devils stars Jack and Luke Hughes became just the fourth brothers to score goals in the same period in the last 10 years.

Jack's goal came at the 1:53 mark of the third period, and it was a nice one. After receiving a breakout pass from Brett Pesce, the 2019 first-overall pick skated the puck down the ice and beat Canadiens goalie Samuel Montembeault top shelf.
Luke's goal was at the 10:09 mark of the third, and it was a beauty as well. The young blueliner one-timed a Timo Meier feed with a blistering slapshot for the goal.
