New Jersey Devils winger Ondrej Palat celebrated an impressive milestone in his team's 6-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. The 32-year-old celebrated his 300th career assist after earning a primary helper on Timo Meier's fifth goal of the season. It also marked his 20th assist as a Devil.
Throughout his career, Palat has performed well against the Jets. Entering Tuesday's game, he had 15 points in 18 games versus Winnipeg.
Per Devils' PR, Palat is now one of 27 Czechia natives with 300 or more career assists. Former Devils forward Jaromir Jagr owns the most career assists for all Czechia natives (1,155).
Palat signed a five-year, $30 million contract with New Jersey on July 14, 2022. He has appeared in 63 games as a Devil and has eight goals and 20 assists.
