Jesper Bratt became the fifth New Jersey Devils player who earned 80 points in a single season since the start of the 2011-12 campaign.

New Jersey Devils winger Jesper Bratt joined elite company on Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In the first period, Bratt earned an assist on Timo Meier's power-play goal for his 80th point of the 2023-24 season.

He became the fifth Devils player who earned 80 points in a single season since the start of the 2011-12 campaign, joining Jack Hughes (99 points in 2022-23), Nico Hischier (80 points in 2022,23), Taylor Hall (93 points in 2017-18), and Ilya Kovalchuk (83 points in 2011-12).

After signing an eight-year, $63 million contract with the Devils last June, Bratt is concluding a career-high season where he collected 82 points (27 goals, 55 assists) in 80 games. His 80-point campaign marked the 18th time in Devils team history that a player earned 80 or more points in a single season since 1982-83.

He will enter Saturday night's game with eight points in his last five games and is coming off a three-point performance against the Maple Leafs.
