Cizikas had to get in on the fun.

ELMONT, NY -- New York Islanders forward Casey Cizikas had to wait 10 games before returning to the lineup after suffering an injury on Jan. 9.

You can tell he and his teammates were getting antsy Thursday morning:

Not only did he return to the lineup against the Tampa Bay Lightning, but he joined in on the scoring fun.

At 15:22 of the second, with the Islanders already up 5-2, Cizikas cut the front of the crease before beating Lightning goalie Jonas Johansson blocker side. 

That was Cizikas' first goal since Dec. 13 and the energizer bunny is off and running as the Islanders push for a postseason berth,
