The Islanders will be without Matt Martin against the Kings due to injury as Hudson Fasching returns to the lineup.

Islanders & Accountability

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Over the course of the New York Islanders' six-game winning streak, head coach Patrick Roy has only made one change to his lineup, giving Semyon Varlamov the start against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

However, Roy had to make another change to his lineup; outside of Ilya Sorokin starting as fourth-line winger Matt Martin is out with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day.

Hudson Fasching, who was activated out of long-term injured reserve on March 5 after a three-game conditioning stint, draws back in.

The 28-year-old forward has missed the last 15 games after suffering a lower-body injury against the Montreal Canadiens on Jan. 25:

Martin, who is in the final year of his contract, has been in and out of the lineup this season, missing 22 games.

Fasching, who is in the first year of a two-year extension, has three goals and five assists in 35 games this season.

This story will be updated following the game if we learn more.
