Pageau skates again! The Islanders forward rejoins team practices, signaling a potential holiday return and boosting their lineup.

ELMONT, NY -- New York Islanders forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau was back on the ice for the first time since sustaining an upper-body injury on Nov. 23 against the St. Louis Blues.

General manager Mathieu Darche said he expects Pageau to return before Christmas.

The 33-year-old, who is in the final season of a five-year deal worth $5 million annually, recorded 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 22 games, winning 59.5 of his draws.
