Terreri, who played 406 games over 14 years in the NHL, 12 for Lou Lamoriello when he was the general manager of the New Jersey Devils, came to the Islanders organization when Lamoriello was hired.
His final season in the NHL saw him get dealt to the Islanders for John Vanbiesbrouck.

Terreri had been serving as the goalie coach for the New Jersey Devils since 2010.
Sergei Naumovs does have a connection to one very important Islander. He served as Ilya Sorokin's goalie coach for CSKA Moscow from 2018-20, his two best seasons for the Red Army team.
The important news in all of this is that Piero Greco, who works day-to-day with the Islanders' goaltenders will be remaining on.
