George, the 98th overall pick at the 2022 NHL Draft, has played quite well in these playoffs, with four goals and five assists in 14 games after scoring just six goals and 24 assists in 68 regular-season games.
Two of his four goals have been empty-netters, which may not be a big deal to some, but that means his coach, Dale Hunter, trusts him to be out there in the big moments to lock down the "W."
On March 31, Game 2 of the First Round against the Flint Firebird, George scored to cut London's deficit to 3-2 before his team came back to win 6-4 to take a 2-0 series lead:
After winning Game 3 by a score of 4-3, George recorded two assists in Game 4, both secondary tallies. His first came on the game-opening goal, while his second came in crunch time with Flints' net empty for the series sweep.
In Round 2, Game 1 against the Kitchener Rangers, George scored to tie the game at 2-2 en route to a 5-3 win:
