All season long, New York Islanders legend Butch Goring and former Arizona Coyotes forward turned Spittin' Chiclets podcast host turned TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette has been going at it.

Goring, a four-time Stanley Cup champion with the Islanders, has backed up his team anytime Bissonnette has thrown shade their way while also poking fun at Bissonnette's Maple Leafs.

TNT host and Islanders die-hard Liam McHugh got in on the fun as well:

While the Islanders' First Round fate was a five-game series loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, the Maple Leafs forced a Game 7 against the Boston Bruins.

However, a strong dump-in pass by Bruins' defenseman Hampus Lindholm and a beautiful finish by David Pastrnak at 1:54 of overtime sent Boston to the Second Round and the Maple Leafs to the golf course:

While Biz's heart was shattered into pieces, Goring pounced, tweeting at the former NHL enforcer regarding the Leafs record in potential series-clinching games (1-11-0):

Biz, who never runs out of things to say and usually has a comeback waiting at the tip of his tongue, was left speechless:

Some say this is the first time in history that Biz didn't have a thing to say.

While the war between Goring and Biz is nowhere close to over, Goring has won the latest battle.
