With the New York Islanders hitting the ice for day one of training camp on Thursday, Stefen Rosner hosted an X space on Wednesday evening to set the stage and answer your questions.

Although other teams released their training camp roster on Wednesday, the Islanders will share theirs once the first group of players hit the ice.
Here's a quick breakdown of how Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello runs his training camps.
There will be 57 players at the training camp, divided into three groups, per the team.
After every group goes, the specific players who just came off the ice will be available for us to talk to — we can't talk to anyone who hasn't skated yet.
Islanders head coach Patrick Roy will be available following the last group of the day.
Each group rotates time slots each day except the goalies. The point is to keep the netminders on the same schedule every day.
For example, if Varlamov goes with group one on Thursday, he'll still hit the ice first on Saturday, but he would hit the ice with group two or three, depending.
Two of the three groups consist of NHL players and prospects, while the third group is usually composed of players the team believes will play for Bridgeport.
The Islanders' first preseason game is this Sunday at 7 PM ET against the New Jersey Devils at The Rock.
Expect the roster to be trimmed following that game.
