Rangers forward Chris Kreider now has the third most power play goals in franchise history.

The New York Rangers longest tenured player, Chris Kreider, scored the game-winning goal against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night.

The goal was a power play marker. A nifty pass from defenseman Adam Fox set Kreider up -- tipping the puck past Devils goalie Kaapo Kahkonen.

The goal was Kreider's 107th power play goal of his career, now the third most in franchise history.

Heading into Wednesday's matchup, Kreider was tied with Hall of Famer and former Rangers captain Brian Leetch for the third most power play tallies.

Now Kreider has sole possession of the third spot in the statistic.

Kreider only needs one more PPG to tie another Hall of Famer for the second most power play goals in Rangers history, Rod Gilbert.

Moving from third to first will probably take a little more time, as Camille Henry holds the Rangers top-spot with 116.
