Watch Louis Domingue scored a goalie goal for the Hartford Wolfpack.

With the Hartford Wolfpack, AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, on the cusp of clinching a playoff berth, goaltender Louis Domingue punched their ticket in style.

The game was in the dying seconds with Hartford up by one, but Domingue gloved down the puck and shot it down the ice with an empty cage on the other end. The rest, as they say, is history.

Domingue becomes the third AHL netminder to score a goal this season, joining the Laval Rocket's Strauss Mann and the Rockford Ice Hogs' Jaxson Stauber.

Elsewhere in the contest, Riley Nash, Alex Belzile, Jake Leschyshyn and Blake Hillman lit the lamp, with the former two recording multiple points in the game.

With the victory, the Wolf Pack improve to 32-27-7-3 and will participate in the Calder Cup Playoffs.

The Wolfpack will join a unique postseason of 23 teams and likely take part in a best-of-three series in the opening round. Their opponent, if the season ended today, would be the Charlotte Checkers, the Florida Panthers' AHL club.

The Wolfpack return to action the Checkers on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
